The EASIEST way to find your Drain Line Under Basement Floor Slab

This is the easiest way to find your drain under your basement concrete floor slab. This is if you have a plastic drain pipe (like PVC or ABS).

I made an impromptu cell-phone video of the process since I could not find anything online explaining the process:

You need:
- An M-Scope
- Fish Tape (metal)
- Access to drain clean-out

And the rest is easy.

i used two cloths hangers for free! cut them in shape of Ls hold one in each hand straight out at angle to floor they cross when over pipe! its not magic its magnetic !

If the pipe is cast iron you can use a metal detector.
