Thank you! I would LOVE an anti-aging routine for sensitive skin that uses the skin cycling method. I also would appreciate some niacinamide alternatives because it makes my cheeks pink and sensitive.

When I developed skin sensitivity to fragrances, Vanicream was a life saver. I mix their cream and lotion 50/50 in the palm of my hand to use because I don't like the texture the cream leaves on it's own but lotion isn't enough in the winter. Wish the gel had better hold. At the time, I never found Vanicream shampoos and such so I ordered Paula's Choice All Over Hair and Body Shampoo for my hair. Works great.

vanicream I say one true love in life since I started to use them a few years back when I started breaking out in hives and even just the water from a shower or going into the sun would make the hives and itching worse and ever since then ive been using vanicream. I use almost every single product of theirs especially the lite lotion, cream, and facial moisturizer and cleanser. the facial cleanser is a holy grail for sure never have I used a cleanser that gets rid of layers of sunscreen but doesn't dry my skin out but also gives me a nice experience of using it. I absolutely love this brand.

I've been using Vanicream fragrance-free and aluminum-free deodorant for almost a year and I love how my underarms feel! I do use another deodorant (antiperspirant) when I'm in 90F weather. But on a regular basis, Vanicream is perfect!

The Venicream cleanser is predatory drying. I have oily skin and I use Tretenoin daily. The Cerave hydrating and the LRP are much gentler imo

Dr. Locke, I'm 63 and just now starting to take care of my skin. 🤦‍♀️ (I know!) Can you share the correct order to apply products (a.m. and p.m.)? I think it goes like this, but not sure:
1. Cleanser
2. Essence or Toner
3. Serum or Treatment A
4. Serum or Treatment B
5. Eye Cream (pm only?)
6. Moisturizer
7. Sunscreen (a.m.)
8. Did I leave anything out? Where does exfoliation fit in?

Also, how many serums can be used at once? Can they be "cocktailed" first and applied together? Or should they be layered-on individually (and if so, do you need to wait a bit between each application)?

Also, I've heard that retinoids should be used at night, whereas antioxidants, peptides and alpha-hydroxy acids are best in the morning. Is that tue?

It's all so confusing!

You forgot to mention the vanicream lotion in the pump bottle. This is my all-time favorite, I use this on my face every day before sunscreen it is so light. When I’m feeling dry on my body I take one pump of the lotion and one pump of the cream and mix them together it makes the perfect consistency as the cream is a bit heavy. I tried the new moisturizer in the tube and it irritated my skin and the lotion helped me more than any other moisturizer I have ever used to calm down my sensitive skin.
