Finally! Someone that ACTUALLY SHOWS the disconnecting of the cables inside! SO MANY other videos don't show it! They all show the moron stuff like how to remove the (duh!) stupid torx screws.... So kudos to this video maker!!!

For anyone having trouble with the short ribbon cable on the lcd. After you undo the left 2 cables. You can pull the lcd up out of the iMac and rest it on the table in front of the actual machine. This way the lcd is further down by a few inches. The ribbon still has heaps of slack because it’s connected at the middle of the board.

Once the lcd is standing on the table in front of the iMac, you have plenty of space to use your fingers and grab the tab and undo the ribbon. You also have space for the motherboard connector. No risk of damaging, it’s also easier to reconnect it this way.

Hello, I hope you can help me with my problem, My iMac turns on by itself, and when I am working with it it turns off or restarts in a totally random way, do you think it could be the power supply? I also want to change the battery and I don't see it. THANK YOU
