Imagine a single computer using FPGA, Power 9, Xeon Cascade Lake, M2, EPYC, Grace, Titan V, V100, RTX 4090 and a QPU with advanced AI directing which chip(s) handle each process according to their strengths and available resources, in order to design a new CPU for the sole purpose of creating another more powerful AI Supercomputer, whose only job will be to create more powerful AI supercomputer processors.
Something similar to the above is being assembled by DARPA and DoE in Oak Ridge and Argonne, where the U.S. government already has five of the ten most powerful computers in the world.

It's all happening too fast. I worry about the corruption that will inevitably happen knowing humans. The population is going to be helpless against such technologies. AI in the wrong hands is pretty scary. We must have strict laws globally.

Quantum computers are good at solving problems that are hard for regular computers to manage. By integrating multiple tasks simultaneously and using really cold q-bits for error correction we may have found new algorithms that can avoid the problems of the past. By understanding the ethical concerns of people that won't be able to participate in an industry that has a prohibitively high entry price, society may fractionalize into groups who have access to and those that don't have access to quantum computing!
