My husband of 26 years and I were in active addiction together for 26years. We went into recovery 6 months apart from each other. I’m 3 1/2 years clean he’s going on 3 years. We do our recovery program together as in it helps with marital counseling as well. We are having to get to know one another sober and it’s been a bumpy road but we make it work somehow. He’s my best friend and I’m glad things have been working out for the better for us. We also have been working on our relationship with our grown sons. So much happier today🥰
