Dude as a Mexican I gotta tell you this shit was a major culture shock to me. I remember the first time I had a white people taco. I went to a friends for dinner and I legit was like “why y’all got breakfast (flour) tortillas at the dinner table? And why this ground beef look orange? Why did you use ground beef and not a better protein? And wtf this lettuce for? Where the onion and cilantro at?” Lmao but then I tried it, it turned out they’re pretty fucking good. Now I will gladly eat white people tacos.

The bottom line is you shouldn’t define a person by the taco they choose (although the times I have made authentic arrachera for my friends and they’ve asked for lettuce or shredded cheese I do bust their balls a lil bit lmao but it’s in good fun.)
