Is Tori Vega REALLY The Worst Character on Victorious?

The hit Nickelodeon sitcom, Victorious, has recently been added to Netflix, and fans of the show are now returning to it. Despite it being great that the show is now a lot more accessible, there is a lot of controversy going around about the character Tori Vega played by Victoria Justice.

I think WE ALL know Victoria Justice, but fire Is being lit towards her because of her character Tori, being regarded as annoying, entitled, or just being the worst character on Victorious.

Me being a huge Victorious fan, I naturally got curious and figured I wanted to take my own stand on this topic, and it turns out... I have many different views on this topic.

This video basically describes my opinion on the character and how she interacts with other characters such as Cat ( Ariana Grande ), Beck ( Avan Jogia ), Andre ( Leon Thomas III ), Jade ( Elizabeth Gillies ), and MORE!

Jade is a bully
Cat ages backwards
Beck is boring
Robbie is rude af (since he controls Rex)
Trina is selfish
And somebody please tell me what to say about Andre cause he's great and I can't think of anything

Tori literally did so much for her friends, she helped jade get Beck back, she helped Trina get back into Hollywood Arts, She gave 3 pints of blood to Robbie, she bought Rex back to “life” so Robbie would be happy, and she refused to kiss Beck even though him and jade were broke up but she didn’t want to hurt jades feelings, but no tori does like 3 bad things and she’s a demon from hell

Remember the time when Robbie humiliated his friends on TheSlap for popularity? Or when Jade sabotaged Tori’s pints of blood so she can be the main role of the play instead of Tori? Or how Beck allows Tori and girls to flirt with him even when he’s already taken? Or that time when Cat was being stupid and glued a mask on Tori’s face? I could keep going, because a lot of the characters have done way worse things just like Tori. People need to just shut up and cherish their childhood show. Sure, Tori has done some horrible things, but all characters do that. All characters in every show do something bad and later learn from it. That’s what makes characters character. If all the characters were a bunch of goodie-two shoes then the show would just be boring. Characters need to do bad things in order to progress as characters.

I just rewatched the entire season 1 and the absolute worst character imo is Jade West, she’s disgustingly toxic and abusive. I would have hated to have gotten to know a real Jade West in High-school her ass would have gotten dropped by everyone for being malicious.

I love Tori, she's so sweet and funny and normal too which is realistic, people who like Jade are probably like Sinjin in real life and think they're edgy by liking Jade lol

Times Tory has taken the initiative in helping/doing good to her friends:

-Helped Jade and Beck get back together (the first time)
-Helped Robbie get Rex back from the 12 year old boy
-When she saw Sikowitz was depressed, she did all she could to make him happy again
-Brought Rex back to life to make Robbie happy
-Didn't kiss Beck after he and Jade broke up out of respect for Jade
-Helped Andre get over Jade
-Helped Jade and Cat get their revenge on Hayley and Tara (Freak the freak out)
-Helped Trina get back into Hollywood Arts
-Didn't blab Jade out after she lied about Tori hitting her in the face (Tori took the punishment selflessly)
-Sung with Cat at Andre, Beck and Robbie's Tinkle Aid representation to make up it up to them
-When Cat was sad after she thought her favorite actress died, Tori took her to mourn at her house
Etc.

Bad things Tory has done:

-Spilled cheese and kissed Cat's boyfriend
-Had a Prom at the expense of Jade art project show which she worked hard on

(Tory kissing Beck doesn't count. They were acting and it didn't mean anything. Plus Jade had it coming cuz of the way she treated Tori for no reason)

If Tory was as selfish/boring as they say she is, why do they ALWAYS go to Tory for help? It's because she calls the shots and she always has a plan to help a friend in need.

One the time tori took a lower grade for something that was jades fault.

Two tori didnt replace jades performance with a prom. Sikowitz is an adult and should've told tori she would have to reschedule.

She brings the group together and if another character was the main character it would not be the same! The other characters compliment her and bring the show together! After rewatching the entirety of the first season, I can say it's most likely just people jumping on a bandwagon. Tori is no where as bad as people are saying and they're over exaggerating their arguments against her to make her look worse than she is. For example in the episode where she kissed Cats boyfriend, she obviously felt extremely bad about it and tried her hardest to make up with her. She even takes a punch at the end stating she deserved it and even admits in a later episode it was the worse thing she's ever done. If anything, Trina is the worst character. She's selfish and stuck up. She rejects the song tori made for her birth week, sells it then tries to take credit for singing it in hopes of becoming famous. Another episode she straight up tries stealing robbies (let's not all forget Robbarrizie) sandwich because she wanted it and is directly responsible for the food truck guys injury but people are calling her an icon and queen for some reason....

No. The people who say Tori is the worst character on the show have clearly not rewatched the show or done any research and are just jumping the bandwagon. Yes, Tori isn’t perfect and she has done her fair share of shit, but characters like Jade that people stan has also been a shitty character yet it goes unnoticed.

Do anyone knows that Tori is kinda boring because she was first at a NORMAL high school before she did Make it Shine and got into Hollywood Arts. She did started to get a personality throughout the show.

I feel like tori balances the whole show bc if everyone was super different than each other the show would kinda be straight up werid and if everyone was your basic kid it would be boring so I feel that tori balances everything out
