For me, it's a matter of Amazon or Space X for home internet ... really a matter of who's first, and of course the best price for the most down I can get ... I CAN'T WAIT to say ADIOS to spectrum!

I like the idea of internet, everywhere but it depends on price, data caps, speed and reliability. It would need to be at least as good as what I already have but I'd love to be able to tell Comcast to cram it!

Hi love your show. Thanks for all you do and bringing all of the options for cord-cutting to us in one place. Okay so with the New Year thought it was time I make a change and cut the cord so I ditched my cable signed up for YouTube TV. After I start studying all day add-on and charges I was paying for extras just didn't seem to make sense paying for bunch of channels I never even watched. So to be honest I've only had it for a couple of weeks so far, but I have to say I do love it my only drawback is that it doesn't have the NFL Network so hearing that they're in negotiation to maybe bringing the NFL package or NFL to the network would be great. But to be honest I would be happy if they just add the red zone NFL network cheaper and just as good to most of us. Keep up the good work and I love seeing your new shows come on every day welcome back, and hope you have a great New Year.

Something I want to know about Amazon and Space Ex internet is will you have internet everywhere as in can you take your tablet out of the house and still be able to connect?

Having an alternative to our only available internet service, Frontier, would be outstanding !! We are super rural and would welcome all alternatives !!

We live in a rural area so this is good news. At the bare minimum more competition is a good thing for consumers.

I paid $39 a month for Spectrum internet bundled with cable. I quit cable and now they charge me $73 a month! Can't wait until there is some competition.

Cord cutter options on ota tv. My sister just moved from Lubbock Tx. to Canyon, TX (just south of Amarillo.) I had gifted her with an indoor ota antenna and in Lubbock she received about 40 channels from inside her house. When she did a search she found that a popular ota site suggested she would get only 2 or 3 channels. I told her to take the antenna and try it anyway. She did and she gets about 20 ota channels. And this with an inside antenna. So if you can try before you give up watching OTA.

Dish can try to block pirated content but not going work. Pirates will figure out a work around faster then they can block it. They need to look at why people are pirating the content.

What kinda speeds should we expect from amazon or space x internet?

I know there will be advancements in satellite internet but I saw this video after my last guest just left. I was streaming three live hockey games, my wife was streaming a Netflix movie, 11 phones were connected to my WiFi in addition to my home security system. It’s a cold, wind rainy night in PA and I cannot imagine, with current technology, being able to do that with satellite internet.

What will be the antenna requirements for the new satellite internet options from Space X and Amazon? Will this be antennas that are intergraded into the SOC like current 4G LTE antennas? Is this something external that will have to be Mounted on a fixed surface then provide the signal like WiFi?
I have seen no images of the base stations or where these will need to be installed.
