I've bought Pixel 6, 6 Pro and then 7 Pro. Battery life aside, it's been the best phone I've ever had, which includes many iPhones and Samsungs. The camera and software is outstanding and it really shows up the weakness in iOS.

Why would you switch the Power and Volume buttons? You use volume a lot, so it's perfect where it's now, being reachable with ease. The power button is used like...almost never, so it's perfect up there and out of the way.

I had the Pixel 3 XL and now own the Pixel 7. What makes these phones truly is the software. Other android OSs simply do not compare. We are now out of the "constantly and radically overhaul the OS Philosophy and appearance" phase and Google is finally maturing and refining its OS experience with every iteration. Cant wait for the Android 14 final version, i've tried all the BETAs so far and they are Great!

People always hate the power button placement. I only use the power button to turn off the phone. If I want to wake the phone I can tap the screen.

Nice video Jon, do you think the Pixel phones will ever get the same hype as the Samsung Galaxy phones? As by the time the Pixel 8 drops, people may think to the next Galaxy S phone as their next phone, the cameras on the Pixel phones seem impressive but the crazy zoom of these Galaxy Ultra phones over the years have been impressive!

The lack of a flat screen on the Pixel 7 Pro, is the reason why I went for the standard Pixel 7.

I really like what Google is doing what direction there going with there phones especially a flat screen i love it Samsung is doing it so is iphone so yes Google flat screen!..in the near future i might go with Google instead of Samsung if they truly go flat screen
