Rich I know you worked hard and made your own luck but I’ll just call you a lucky guy to be able to participate in aviation the way you do. This is a beautiful aircraft and the new owner just has to be beaming.

Had my SR22 for 2 years. Love the overall design, range and comfort on my 900 nm trips.

Love that color scheme. Definitely wouldn't be hard to spot your own plane on the ramp! One Cirrus tip to anybody watching: the seat belt is meant to be worn with the buckle down at your hips (low & tight, as they say). In most of the shots in this video, it's way too loose and would be dangerous in an accident because you'd "submarine" out from under it. Also, the air bags won't work properly if the belt isn't tightened to pull the shoulder straps down into position. Happy flying!

Really enjoy flying with you. Am 75 years old and never had an opportunity to learn to fly but still like to watch your videos. Have learned a lot about so many different aircraft and look forward to future flights. Thanks again.

Great video as always. How are flight characteristics vs the A/G36 Bonanza? Handling and rough air specifically. Be great to see a video on the Vision Jet and the DA50 in the future. Thanks Rich!

Absolutely beautiful plane! That paint scheme is gorgeous. Only thing that could make this plane any better imo is retractive landing gear other than that it speaks for itself among aviation enthusiasts but of course it has its haters like any other top dog!

Wicked paint job, definitely get noticed in the air with that . . .
Although I have to admit at that price I would be leaning more towards a M350 . . .

The Cirrus sure did capture the market, primary reason was the CAPS for new pilots transitioning into GA, and the sense of security that it offered. However, the Columbia was much more a pilot's airplane. I never liked the flight controls on the Cirrus, with that awkward springy feel, whereas the Columbia side-stick was smooth as butter, and it just felt so well integrated. Also, the Columbia's failsafe designs incorporated throughout the airframe and slick engineering details were also superior, IMHO.
