How to see the difference between bees:

Female bee/worker bee:
Small eyes
Can sting

Male bee/Drone:
Big fat eyes
Cannot sting
Can usually be found (dead) around a bee hive in winter.

Queen bee:
Looks just like a female bee
Hardly out of the hive
Fatter than all the other bees.





(Bumblebees are fatter while wasps have no fur and are thinner and more neon.)

Most wasps and also queen bees can sting more than once. Their stingers don't have barbs or are blunted making ot easier to pull them out.

They don't actually need to die when they sting you, their stinger has barbs as he said which basically act to keep it in there. They die because when we flail about, we fling them and keep their stinger in because of the barbs. If you stay still and let it twist it out, it will survive.

It depends on the type of bee. There are some types of bees that can sting you *multiple* times and be fine, and also the queen bee can sting as many times as necessary.
