What are you using to light your room, I really like the warm tones it was putting out :D. Also thank for video grabbing the Massdrop HIFIMAN HE4XX so I'm looking to getting my first entry amp/dac, want to spend money I thought considering that i'm a novice I'm start small and build up.

*Joshua PLEASE HELP. . . I have a very quick question. Can I use either of these with my ipad. I have some headphones that could really benefit from an amp/DAC but I only use them with my iPad / iPhone and that’s it. If so ... which one is better? Also. . If not . . which portable or table top DAC/amp combo under $150 would you recommend for use with only an iOS device. I have the Drop THX Pandas and the Ollo S4x Reference Headphone. Hopefully you’ll se this and will reply, I know you are busy. I know NOTHING a about this stuff so have no clue.

My Fulla 2 is perfect.. I actually bought an Asgard 2 to pair with the Fulla 2. I sent the Asgard 2 back because it didn't benefit the sound at all for me with my HD 660 S. I just hook my headphones up to a Yamaha receiver now due to a larger sound stage it gives me with no sound degredation difference from the Asgard 2 and/or even Fulla 2.

The NFC on the AD18 is tricky, but it does work. Pretty much, you just gotta bump uglies and hold the phone near the NFC "plate" on the AD18. Probably takes longer than it really should.

I think the lighting is very nice. Personally, I'd like to just see the softer blue for the whole video since it fits your soothing voice, but you'll probably get more retention with the shifting colors.

This is a pretty good review that makes me wish I had gotten the smsl. However, I think this catagory of budget amps would benefit greatly from a comparison with the micca origen. I might be biased because I have a g2, but it's in the same price range and might compete with the type of person that would want the schitt after this video. Keep making videos man

I own the Fulla 2 at work and the static does exist, I found out that is present only when I plug my headphones in the morning and adjust the volume but it goes away after a while.

Fulla 2 is for gaming and had headphone input. The smsl will power speakers and headphones. Completely different products.

AD18 is great in an off grid situation, 24V DC is easy, and chemical power comes with no interference. It's good for dynamics and avoid any hum. (but even with the AC brick I can't hear any) Just that by using DC you are more efficient.

So are you saying that the Schiit is capable of powering the hd600’s? I am looking for a dac amp that can use the entire 300ohms to its full potential. All does the Fulla use the amp and dac together?

Can't you plug in headphones through the speaker outputs on the smsl ad18 for a lot more power than the normal headphone output? I thought I heard zreviews say this was possible and there was a lot more power that way
