It’s complete. She resembles a sophisticated Korean grandma. The wardrobe is Korean grandma 1980s and some modern twists.

As someone who studies climate change and takes passion in learning about the consumption and trend norms of the fashion industry. I really hope that everyone who watches this video focuses on one particular message that Emma sends out. The message that people should not purge to buy more, make what you have out of your closet already. Please do not get inspired by her purge, but by her change in mindset. She is admitting that the cycle of buying and purging DOES NOT work! Trends are ever-changing. Also, although it isn't mentioned in this video, the quality of clothing keeps getting worse. So use what you have, whether it means dyeing the fabric, tailoring it or upcycling!!

if your watching this video for “realistic” or “relatable” content, you’re not getting it. she is a FASHION influencer. this is her collection. this is her passion.

That throwback intro made me realise how many good memories we have with Emma. It's so crazy (and honestly sad) how much time has passed.

Only Emma could make a closet overview into standup comedy. Love the direction her channel is headed. The access to brands and money may not be relatable, but her energy will always be one of the silly girls. Remember she’s young and deserves compassion like anybody else.

I don’t see why you guys are upset… she’s a fashion creator.. she has an upscale closet.. you knew what you were clicking on.

I love how you talk about your clothes and how they make you feel instead of dropping designer names it shows how much you truly just love how clothes are a form of epression and style

I think Emma owning up to and admitting her own weakness to consumerism IS relatable. Even if she can afford and own far more than the average person, she's showing that anyone and everyone can be susceptible to the image-obsessed drive to own more, even when we don't need it. The message here is great, and it's refreshing to see her accountability and drive to change what she knows is a problem <3

When I turned 25 I went for the capsule wardrobe and it felt so GOOD. I still had clothes from high school at that point. But the stress relief from having such a simple yet diverse selection that’s easy to organize. Obviously mine is, at scale, a lot smaller than yours lol. But I’m not a fashion content creator so it makes sense! Having done this makes moving so much easier. And it also makes me appreciate my clothes so much more, helps me invest in actual quality pieces over quantity of stuff that will fall apart in a year. And I find that accessories are much more fun to explore with changing up the looks!

I really applaud you on this. I hope you continue to post on how overconsumption is negative

I'm genuinely shocked that so many people are expecting a 23 year old millionaire who is invited to fashion week, the Met Gala, is friends with the Kardashians and other celebrities, has 12 million subscribers, a successful podcast and business to be relatable. She is a wealthy public figure who has worked her way up to the point she is now and is being open about her experiences and reflections of her life, habits, downfalls, and personal value. This is literally her job so of course she has more clothes than you? She admits how gluttonous she was and at the end of the day, yes this being ~5% of her clothing items is incredibly un-relatable to YOU but so what? Why should she relate to you? Just be glad that she's improving herself. She will never be relatable anymore and will probably be out of touch at some points but you need to just accept that.

this has honestly helped me clean out my closet. I have so many things that I just don't fit me or that I don't wear anymore and it feels so good just to have it clean. thank you.

She is 23 goin on 24 - let’s all just be nice to her growing up in the public eye, just because she has self made enough money to have wealth - doesn’t mean you just bully a random person online - she’s still young and a delight and figuring it out - We are all just doing our best

it's great that she did a clean out, but just a reminder for my friends who are also feeling fashionably-insuficent that this is actually still A LOT of clothes relative to the normal population!
