Little hack, buy the small wardrobes or build them yourself, build a deep frame that will be deeper that the wardrobes and high enough so that the wardrobes are near the ceiling, leaving a gap for coving. The bottom frame will be a bench. Build frame to raise the wardrobe on the bench frame, as the wardrobe doors will have to open, as a seating pad will go on the frame that protrudes. so you can buy foam and fabric to wrap it to your own taste and length. The put shirting on the bottom frame, coving at the top, put shelve in the becnh frame and prime, undercoat, paint and seal the paint job.

Also hang on to the carpet you cut off because it can be put back down and nobody will ever know it was removed or can be used to repair any carpet that gets damaged that’s the same

How do you secure the base to the floor? My floors (and walls) are concrete and I’d think if I only secure the base to the wall, it will be wobbly. Thank you 🙏
