For screwing the timber together I would suggest drilling pilot holes first to prevent splitting or stress in the wood.

How do you level the floor frames? Floors are never perfect.

Super helpful video, we're going to have a go today at doing this for our daughter's room! What screws did you use to screw the base to the wall? I can't seem to find a video of that exact part

Hi Kirsty. I came across your video and its not often you find someone that talks through things properly. I am looking to do some of these for myself.
However, with regards to the base. Do I take it you have to offset the base by the thickness of the doors? Or does the base match the base of the pax wardrobes?

Hello 👋🏻 newbie here so thank you for the great video on how to build the base. Desperately trying to understand that do the Pax just go on top of the ply wood you just put on top of the wooden base ? Is it strong enough.

Did you build the base up bc of the shorter units? I have a 96” ceiling and was considering using the taller 93 1/8 units directly on the floor and covering the unit base with plain boards brand using trim only at the top? My ceiling molding is 2 5/8 “

Why is a base needed? Can't pax units stand without a base?
