Fab I did this in lockdown only difference I added mirrors to the doors made by a local glass shop, they came out stunning.
Big up to all the ladies for having a go.

I really like it, looks good but. I did a very similar construction and after a few months ended up in really ugly cracks between the wall and mdf. My conclusion was to fix the mdf on the wall instead and not on the wardrobe. In this case it will not crack but there will be a small gap between mdf and wardrobe. However, you never see this gap in this case. The cracks you would see all the time.
Just a small tip for improvement. Otherwise great work!

Your very very short tutorial is better than some half hour videos! Awesome work!

This looks very nice. I would personally remove the carpet where you’re going to build the book in because that will be an even sturdier base and if you ever change or replace the carpet, you won’t have to deal with the awkwardness of having the old carpet under the built-in.

Looks really nice, just like a professionally made built-in.

I doubted you about the handle choice but when I saw the finished look I really liked it. Well done!

Looks beautiful! Is there any risk for the wall behind, since no air can circulate? (e.g for mold or other stuff?) Or is that irrelevant?

I love the paneling ❤ Where's it from?

Wow!!! I need to channel your doing-it spirit!!! I LOVE the handles and decorative paneling. Our home repair store out here don’t carry that cute curved design. Maybe I can source it online??

Do you have to screw the plinth at the bottom to the floor? Also do you have to screw the vertical wardrobe to the plinth/base?

Why didn’t you use the space above the wardrobe? On a YouTube channel, Alexandragater, she shows how to use that space so you don’t lose value storage space.

Very impressive... So how you could learn how to use these tools... Is it something that I can learn by myself? I am overwhelmed

Isn't there mold in the US? In most of the older german houses and flats this would cause massive molding in the corner

Good job looks bespoke, shame the quality of them isn’t great the doors are flimsy now compared to years ago

I want to do this but I’m actually so thick I don’t understand why that base is needed. Is it really needed or can I just let the wardrobe sit on the floor?
Also would it look ok without doors?
Thanks a lot ❤

As a cabinet maker/fitter I can confirm that after 1 month this is going to look like a pile of crap. As a matter of fact if you ask this lady to send some pictures of the joints she made, you will regret about the materials she wasted.
