Dual booting windows 11 and POP OS 22.04 helps to use both operating systems at the same time. When you turn on your Pc it will ask you to boot into Windows 11 or POP OS. This way you can run both operating systems on the same computer hassle-free.

In this tutorial, I will be showing how to install POP OS alongside windows 11. This video follows the UEFI-GPT method. Meaning, all modern computer users can use this guide to dual boot their PC with POP OS LTS on their existing Windows 11. There may be no data loss you will encounter while using this method, although it’s always recommended to back up any important data from windows 11 just to be on the safer side. If something goes wrong, you can retrieve the data. Apart from that as long as you follow this guide, you will be able to successfully able to dual boot POP OS 22.04 and windows 11 on your PC or laptop.

It important to note several things not mentioned in the video
- Your storage devices have to be in AHCI mode otherwise the partitions will not appear in Pop OS. My Dell XPS 15 came with 2 SSDs configured in RAID. You have to disable hard disk encryption (if encrypted), enable safe mode on Windows 11, restart and go to boot menu and change RAID to AHCI. Restart and go back into Windows, remove safe mode and re-encrypt your hard disk (if encrypted)
- Some machines, to get the boot menu, you have to press F8 (Dell XPS for example) instead of space bar. Then you can press 't' multiple times to increase the boot menu delay.

Nice one, do not forget to save your bitlocker recovery key if you have it setup (here even with the pre boot pin it is asked).
I did not find the option to cipher the PopOS easily during the setup, but there may be a way to protect your partitions against stealing.

I don;t often comment on youtube videos but this made things super easy. I often boot from USB to use my linux system but it's super handy dualbooting without issues. Systemd is great
