Pop OS and Windows 10: A Beginner's Guide to Dual Boot Installation

My laptop broke yesterday and it use to have windows but I tried to dual boot Linux a long time ago and it didn’t work and messed up windows. I’m getting a new one and I’m nervous to try again.

It say's _command not found_ . Whe typing:
sudo update-grub

[sjsjjdnjisjwjeuudn]

I did exactly same thing but menu wasn't showed up. What did I wrong?
