I don't usually gush, but if there's an award for the most insightful, thoughtful, thorough and intelligent channel on Youtube, you deserve it, Dr. Dray! Many years ago I worked night shift, and this is the first time I've heard someone publically address the dangers of driving home from work. I've heard truckers mention it, but never in healthcare. Excellent video, and I hope this inspires solutions.

I am a retired nurse, and I worked night shift for years. It really messed my sleep schedule up. Great video. 😀🎄

Thank you so much for thinking of night shift workers. They are an often overlooked community and we don’t appreciate them nearly enough. ❤️ Hubby is flipping from swings to nights this week through Christmas & New Years. He is frequently sleep-deprived and sadly, skin care is not a priority. We couldn’t live without blackout shades and a sound machine and he does take his own food to work. Excellent tips, all of them. Merry Christmas to you and yours, Dr Dray 🌲

What great advice! Most of my working life was swing shift work. In law enforcement we rotated each 28 days backward..mids, 3 to 11 and then days. I read that was the unhealthiest way. In Healthcare it was all over the place. A few days on one shift, a few days on another. Completely anti safety and health. I'm so glad I'm retired! Thanks for addressing the needs of those who struggle through shift work and thank you to all who still do it.

Thank you so much for this! I sometimes work nights 19-07 in an office and often alone. I tend to do my normal nighttime skincare routine when I come back home at around 8 am and my morning routine when I wake up in the afternoon. Trying to not overcomplicate things! Great advice about the food. I eat fully vegan during my nights and as healthy as I possibly can. I also very often work out in the middle of the night, it makes staying awake easier!

Thanks for the tips! I work swing shifts DDNN 12 hr shifts at the hospital and my sleep schedule and skin is off balance. You’re so right about sleep deprivation being the same as being drunk. My cousin died in a car accident from falling asleep driving after a night shift. When I drive home after a night shift I roll down all my windows and turn up my music and sing to keep me awake.

I work a lot of night shifts and I've always winged my skincare routine on these days. Thank you so much for considering this as a topic that's worth discussing.
Also it was so sweet of you to mention those tips at the end 😊
Thank you and Merry Christmas ❤

Merry Christmas to you Dr Dray!
I never thought of this subject, but now as I am watching this video l realize that l needed some of these informations because even though I work from home, I often work during the night or very late hours because I have clients in different time zones. Thank you very much!
