Even when the movement isn't new, listening to these videos jump starts the mind with so many consistent, positive cues for good form and reasoning behind why to revisit or keep going with movements. Remembering things like cross body stabilisation, strong well-balanced core and spine upright, improves athletic ability is what makes me keep picking up the bells!! Even when I can't be bothered.

This video is filled with great gems of coaching advice, especially towards the end.

This series is going to make me a better coach for myself and for my kids. We're getting back to training for them after being away for a summer trip. Starting with kb deadlifts today. Thank you for such a great teaching series!

I was drilling this and for the first couple of sets was catching the inside of leg and it felt awkward as...

I wasn't driving the hip forward properly, aligning and hingeing with good form, it does takes an adjustment over standup cleans lets say.

But here's the thing, after getting it right I felt I was driving up from the lunge (on lead foot) in a much stronger position then when I used to do standalone lunges.

I realised that previously, with lunges, I was over-using the rear leg to assist getting up from the lunge ( my understanding now is that the lead leg should lead the movement, hehe ), the core wasn't fully on and I was leaning into it, butchering the getup basically !

The cleans / cues got the core revved up and alignment right, prior to the getup, you'd think these things would be obvious ;)

Love your work as always Mark. The level of instruction is spot on. Not too little, not too much. Two quick questions though - when is the TGU program coming out, and is the deck squat program still on the cards and if so, do you have an ETA? I'd love to get some ideas on how to implement deck squats into my "tetris of training". 🙏

This drill, along with the half kneeling clean, has greatly improved my R Lunge dynamics. All the muscles are firing better and I found myself actually driving up through my front heal to big toe, yesterday, lighting up that glute! Thanks coach!

Love this series Mr. Wildman. Very well produced and presented. OK so when working with Kettlebell and your routine starts to feel easy, "add volume" you've said. So when I reach a point with any particular move that I feel has become to easy, at what point to you switch from adding volume to actually adding weight? Thanks Mr. Wildman.

I must point out that depending on an individual's anatomy, and the wt. & type of KB (competition style vs hard style), the KB may not 'clear' the floor during the low cleans, i.e. it may hit the floor... I don't know any workaround around it, or how to modify the technique so that it remains 'proper'/'acceptable'...Maybe bend a little less? Maybe raise the platforms beneath the feet to create a 'trough' underneath the body?
Maybe Mark can help...?
