Bangladesh has picked garments sector as their main source of income just like the Koreans (same with the chinese, but they are huge in population). Korea started their economic miracle by this clothing sector and also by sending low-skilled workers in developed European countries for remmitances. The Korean government then focused on making it's people skilled manpower, focused and worked on technology and increased their innovation rank. They have attracted other countries, popular companies around the world to start a business there as they have improved in ease of business rank. Bangladesh has a lot of work to do, It is a young country. It is improving slowly. It has the potential to become the next Asian Tiger. Bangladesh's manpower is the biggest strength and the backbone of its economy. If the country implement right policy, good governance, tackles terrorism it will lead Bangladesh to become the greatest economic miracles in the 21st century. And I hate when ppls say Bangladesh is the next China and this and that. Each country has their own identity. Bangladesh is going to be the next Bangladesh. It is a brand itself. Even the Qatar world cup jerseys were made in Bangladesh💚❤💚

Other sectors like leather industry, automobile industry, electronics industry, ceramics industry, pharmaceutical industry, ICT industry, food processing, plastic industry, furniture industry and shipbuilding are flourishing
Bangladesh has possibility to become Asia's giant exporter along with Philippines, Vietnam and Thailand
Bangladesh has good relation with Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand for technological and manufacturing support
Bangladesh is now 13th richest country in Asia will become 10th richest in 2027 at IMF report
Bangladesh needs to reduce corruption and needs to improve governance

And I think it is possible because there are many countless mega-projects happening all across the country. And all the economic and exclusive zones are getting ready to hand over to big foreign companies. Japanese has their own economic zone in narayanganj, which is said to be the largest investments Japanese have made in Asia in a single economic zone. $20 billion investment is expected

India may be costlier than Bangladesh, but if we take a state like UP in India with a comparable population, UP has better Internet facilities now, and cheap Labour. Such states should try to grab these low-hanging fruits like Textile manufacturing.

The economy has grown fast, at least they use a Thai company to build SKY Train, not everything is a Chinese company !! They are cleaver than Sri Lanka where is their neighbour. A rising star for mass production after Vietnam!!
