Example of calculating a surface integral part 2

Multivariable Calculus on Khan Academy: Think calculus. Then think algebra II and working with two variables in a single equation. Now generalize and combine these two mathematical concepts, and you begin to see some of what Multivariable calculus entails, only now include multi dimensional thinking. Typical concepts or operations may include: limits and continuity, partial differentiation, multiple integration, scalar functions, and fundamental theorem of calculus in multiple dimensions.

About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

I think your cursor ran away, and it makes things a little confusing.

To do this surface integral is very easy, just put this term plus this term, and just multiply with this term and this term and this term and... voilá!!

I love your videos Sal. By the way, you didn't distribute the k unit vector among both terms in the parentheses when factoring out a (b + a cos(s)) at 8:04

This video could be better, with no cursor to follow when you say "this term and that term" it gets confusing real quick

what if the "Doughnut" were of elliptic form? (let `a` = const, but 1 < `b` < 2

You're missing some parentheses on the k unit vector at around 8:00

These videos are really great, thanks!

You should try to avoid saying "this term".."that term". It's unclear what you mean since we can't see your gestures. =D

Normally I love your videos but since we are unable to see your cursor and you use vague language, this video is useless.
