TBH Sting is the one who made me see TNA as more than just some lil indie promotion with tv. He legitimatized TNA with his star power and opened the door to ppl like myself to this “other” option.

Sting is the only reason I watch AEW (with the sound off.)
Also like Darby Allen (he's from my hometown.) He'll be a WWE main eventer one day...if he doesn't kill himself in the ring first.

I don't know about that time period but at the moment Sting is a true veteran and legend.

Sting was kind of like Steamboat. Highly touted, but lost most of the time, sometimes very embarrassingly.
