Nowadays, Vince would have changed his mind three times in the span of this video.

It's kind of a shame that Slaughter missed out on a few good years in the company because of the G.I. Joe thing. And that apparently stemmed from the fact that LJN had the contract to produce action figures based on WWF characters, which meant that having two rival toy companies producing action figures of the same character in two competing toylines would have been a conflict of interest. If the toy deal had been with Hasbro instead of LJN, Slaughter probably wouldn't have had to leave when he did.

I always thought they should have turned Piper heel beat warrior and have the showdown with Hogan at Mania 7.

I would've bypassed the whole Gulf War exploitation in 1991. At least the whole Iraqi sympathizer gimmick, anyway. The only heel that i could think that could match Warrior and Hogan and be that transitional champion going into 'Mania VII is The Warlord, because he was the same size and same ability as both men. If Rude hadn't of left the WWF, I would've used him instead as they booked the ongoing feud between Rude and Warrior beforehand and I think Rude would be a good WWF Champion. Slaughter, to me, wouldn't fit as the heel because of the whole deal with G.I. Joe. He was the mascot for G.I. Joe worldwide, doesn't make sense to me for him to turn heel and become an Iraqi essentially when he's the epitome of the All-American Hero with G.I. Joe.

Jesus Christ, stop uploading segments twice and thrice! >:-( This entire segment was already part of the "Bruce Prichard shoots on the Gulf War starting 2 days before Royal Rumble 1991" - video. Are you honestly unable to keep track of which parts of your recording sessions are already out there? Or is this an attempt to squeeze as much ad revenue out of these microscopic fragments, which are of course surrounded by the most annoying in- and outtros I have ever seen on YT?
