RP players get a lot of flack but most of them are just writers who have a love for FFXIV lore and subsequently write it. I come from a writing background and the FF rp community was a breath of fresh air. So many chill people.

I am an RPer across many different games. Some of us are out of touch with everything but a lot of us do care about content cause that's more opportunity for more glams! Writing storyline is also wicked fun.

I’m an RP player simply because I love the game’s lore. I will spend hours rewatching cutscenes and reading my encyclopedias just so I can engross myself into the world!

The main controversy for RP Players are RP Players themselves. The drama, ostracizing and toxicity within themselves, sometimes for no reason than just to start shit, is... saddening

I used to love role-playing in game. Then every venue turned into nightclubs with questionable Twitch DJs where no one actually talks to each other, so I talked my friends back into D&D and that's how I've been getting my RP fix 😂

I think we'd notice when we do any content and the queues suddenly take wayyyy longer because there just are not enough players for raids and whatnot
