Me level up crafter to max level so I wouldn't bother myself wasting gils for melder and repair in some places, you can repair yourself anywhere, anytime. But yeah it can also burn money in seconds for ingredients but also easily gain money for selling most needed HQ materials and doing traders levequest.👍
I got Tons of HQ Foods I made myself in my inventory 😜. I'm always giving foods for my dear FC members as thank you gifts for them helping me a lot in years.

I do omnicrafting/gathering for endgame raiding and I am very much not wealthy at all. Sometimes i dont even craft raid food/pots and i'll just buy it. Everyone in my FC is an omnicrafter/gatherer because our FC leader is like a world class housing designer and we just make her anything she needs and she puts the gil that she makes in the FC chest.

I always play MMOs for 2 things: 1. Guns and 2. Cooking

I love them both cause they feel both out of place and RPG. I wanna shoot major enemies in the kneecaps and cook all the food in the game for my homies.
