Yesterday I snapped at a young friend who I am discipling and I asked if he had been reading his Bible. My tone was judgmental. He responded that I am not going to lie to you . I felt bad instantly. Last night I was reading Mathew 25 and where Jesus is talking to the sheep and the goats. I felt like a goat because in those moments I was judgmental, prideful and arrogant. I saw my friend this morning and I confessed these sins to him. I said Jesus wants us to love the unloveable and I was sorry for being so prideful and judgmental. What a relief to get that off my shoulders. As Christians we have to watch that evil pride all the time. Thanks for listening. This message today when I heard it was like frosting on the cake for me.
