Which Is Better: Ableton Live Intro or Ableton Live Lite?

Just a quick tip, because so much gear comes with a free version of live lite, it worth jumping on to a music forum and ask if anyone has a spare copy they don't use. I have given away loads because I get one with other gear I have bought.

Thank you. I was not sure to get ableton live. The price is pretty steep to see whether I would be into this but no other content creator so far talked about ableton live lite. Thansk again will give this a go

Does anyone know if Intro has the ability to control external midi devices and can export piano roll as midi files? Both of those things Garageband cannot do and I'm getting frustrated with its limitations. I like the idea of using the same license for both a mac and a pc at the same time, too.

Sorry I'm confused. Are you able to put any song for sampling (like a random mp3) onto Live or are you just able to use what beats are on the software?

may as well pick up Ableton with the audio interface you'll need with Ableton.

Im learning after buying a MIDI arturia minilab mkII but in my opinion 8 tracks is not enough on Ableton Live "Lite". 10 or 12 tracks would dothe job for a non-proffesional begineer

I’ve got suite on my main laptop but I wasn’t sure on what to get for my travel laptop. This video really helped me make my decision.

Can you upgrade live 11 to live 11 standard. My computer is too old for live 12.

Some iOS apps include an Ableton Lite license too, I got mine from Koala Sampler ($5 dollars).
