Just got a work-issued M3 MBP 14" and the performance ceiling on this is so high that I'll never come close to it (also has 16GB and a TB HD.) The fit and finish is superb as expected, and saying that it's snappy is an understatement. The screen on this is beyond beautiful.

Would be pretty cool if the Mac Mini could be powered via Thunderbolt like the Macbooks. That way you just have a single cable if you've got the right display or dock to power it.

I still have the M1 Mac Mini and have no need to upgrade. A perfect compact desktop PC. Maybe I’ll consider upgrading sometime around 2028…lol

I don't know why people say the mac mini haven't change the design since 15 years. It looks completly different since the first one (bigger, plastic, white). It have several design changes over the years (slimmer, different ratios etc)

Hope they will come with cheaper RAM. My M1 with 16 GB is still very good, the only thing I lack is a lot more RAM to run LLM’s and such. 128 GB for a decent amount?

Samsung is already using OLED panels on their laptops, and yet Apple is going back to LCDs for the new MacBook Pros with M4 chips? How absurd is that!

Should I get MacBook Pro 14 vs 16 and m4 pro vs m4 max? (Based on the m3 specs) or m4 Mac mini? I would use it for university, video and photo editing, web browsing, watching YouTube videos and programming. Mainly as a desktop machine, have an iPad Pro 11 2018 if needed more mobility.

If Apple put out the 24" iMac with a basic M4 and then a 27" iMac with the M4 Pro at a decent price, I'd be throwing money at them for the 27".

I wish the iMac would get a bigger screen size. Faster chips are fine but user experience is better

It'd be great if the macmini could also be powered via USB-C too, ideal for sticking on the back of monitors and for mobile use.
