Hi, my name is Merrill Kazanjian. New York City is an amazing place to go metal detecting. We have lots of parks, colonial history and great beaches for beach detecting. I have gone to all five boroughs of New York City To Metal Detect and beyond. I also currently own 16 metal detectors. I want to have the best and I want to help you choose the best as well. Below I will showcase some of the playlists on this channel:

I have a playlist of metal detecting videos to teach metal detecting. The videos in the playlist below are specifically made to teach the skills and mindset to becoming a great metal detectorist.

I am a treasure hunter. So in addition to metal detecting, I go mudlarking at sites such as Dead Horse Bay. Think of mudlarking as metal detecting without a metal detector.

My most important series is called Becoming A Millionaire Metal Detecting. I am trying to monetize my favorite hobby in order to do it more in the future. In other words, we put the clad we find in the ground, affiliate earnings, and merchandise earnings in to the stock market and we invest it. This show started in January 2019.

I bought myself a Simplex+ ($254, not wireless headphone version) it arrives today. I am very excited to detect. I want to thank you both for narrowing down the detector hunt!! I’m grateful for the advice.

My first metal detector was an old radioshack detector and that's what got me started. I bought it at a thrift store for five dollars. I now own several detectors but I still take my old radioshack detector out for a spin around the block now and then.

Its funny your doing this. I was thinking that you should get your group together and do videos like this in the off season. I love Vlogs and Podcasts, listening to you guys get together and tell digging stories over the winter would keep everyone interested. I bought the 800 a year ago, due to some unforeseen circumstances I was only able to get out a few times. I was learning the machine it kind of sucked to be honest I was finding hot rocks and junk. I lost interest over the winter and was ready to sell it off while everyone had the checks in their pocket. I started watching your video's again and got amped up and changed my mind. Got weathered out today but there is always tomorrow. We are a little behind you in the good weather department in Northern NY. Thanks for the inspiration guys.

I had an atpro as first detector, now I have a nox800, I travel the country and detect all over but mostly pennsylvania. Red clay has interfered at times but I do a factory reset and the problem goes away. All in all I feel the nox is a much better detector for any area vs the atpro

It is hard to make a choice. I want good but not heavy. I am getting up there in years so I will likely buy only one. Cordless headphones, waterproof (coil). I know everybody likes the 800 and I might go there, but the SDC 2300 is also attractive and I would love to know what you think about it. Maybe in a future video? I am a low tech soul and I like sturdy.

I wasn't trying to be rude during the live feed. but i was expressing that I do have the equinox and the e-trac, and neither works as good as my Tesoro Tejon, The technology is good but not as good as people are trying to express.
