Looks like I’m canceling my Gold card. It’s essentially raising the fee and giving me credits for places I normally wouldn’t ever go to.

None of the Resy restaurants in my city are places I would ever eat at and I get my coffee at a locally owned coffee shop. I eat at Shake Shack but that credit is going away

I’m probably just going to switch my spending to the Savior One. Yes, it’s 3x vs. 4x, but it’s also a $0 annual fee vs. a $325 annual fee and a bunch of credits to juggle for 1x more.

Half the year, the Freedom cards have dining or grocery stores for 5x with no annual fee as well.

White gold is definitely not an accurate name for the color of the new card. Champagne gold would have been more accurate.

I’m usually pretty ambivalent or at least glass half full when it comes to these kinds of changes, but I might have to dump this card in addition to the platinum this year.
There are just too many of these ticky-tacky credits to keep track of that I’d rather focus on the home run cards in my wallet like the Delta Reserve and Hilton Aspire.
