If any athlete refuses a test they should be banned.

Your chromosomes are not a private medical matter when you are an athlete. Ridiculous these people.

Saying that athletes' medical details are private and shouldn't be discussed in public is nonsense when those details relate to whether you can compete fairly as a woman.

She failed a gender test last year but people aren’t talking about that plus you can take estrogen and testosterone

My concern is the amount of media & people gaslighting the Italian boxer & the points she made . As per usual this women & her safety is ignored by those who are only interested in their own political affiliations

Has any biological born woman identifying as male EVER competed in the

Rio.Motel.

If they have both XY chromosome they have advantages and it can be dangerous for their opponents. This must be disclosed to keep the sport safe. This sport is dangerous that's why it needs to be disclosed to safeguard the competitors.

There are so many things wrong with this report its ridiculous. Firstly, why are you asking Joanna Harper, a man who fought to allow other men to play women in rugby, about a DSD issue? Why did you not have on actual experts in this field such as Ross Tucker or Emma Hilton to explain and answer questions with actual facts? To hear Harper say that if the Zambian Football team had three males with DSDs on it, ie three biological men took places from three women on the womens team, it wasn't 'unfair' because they 'didn't win anything'. No. It is unfair. If true it was unfair to the three women who should have been on that team and it is unfair to the women playing them even if they beat them. The World Athletics banned people who have DSDs that only males have from competing in the women's competition. They can of course compete in their respective men's competitions since they are men. And no, it was not 'quite a bit of sporting theatre' to watch a man beat up a women. Do better Times Radio.

A simple cheek-swab chromosome test *used* to be standard at the Olympics! It's not rocket-science.

After 2 hard blows Angela quit saying she havent been hit that hard before and she cant take it anymore.. males muscle mass are far more than women and males are stronger than female .. if this will be allowed to go on.. many male will win in any female competition, they will just declare that they are transgen .. what will happen to our female athletes if this is allowed..

IOC could easily do the DNA test on these 2 participants, the earlier they do it, the earlier they clarify the issue. We all know why IOC did not want to do it

What utter nonsense... we all know what a woman is, and those who are trying to confuse the issue, cause division and chaos. Perhaps that's their intent.

It's not complicated, they don't want to include fair rules for women.

This info is NOT private when you compete in sports and it affects the fairness of a competition.

Disgusting. I feel bad for that poor woman who trained her whole life to robbed of her moment in the sun by this foolishness. The Olympics are dead in my opinion.

To clear controversy, why don't they create a separate category for trans?

francisndubanumbi

Male, I cannot believe we are even asking this question, he has female genitalia but XY or male chromosomes, so neither fully male or fully female, the answer is obvious he should fight in a Trans category of not fight at all..
