Lando's Deal: The Empire Strikes Back Scene

One of my favorite Vader scenes. “Perhaps you think you’re being treated unfairly?”

“No.”
“Good.”

This scene really does it for me.

Lando truly had so much more to offer Hollywood, too bad they were too blind to see. Billy Dee Williams could've easily generated untold millions for the movie industry. An accomplished actor, packed with charm and charisma, extremely handsome, and to this day, the ladies still love him, and appreciate his work.

The way he just completely ignores Lando in the beginning is so perfect, it's like his words and presence in general were nothing more than a breeze to Vader.

I just noticed that Han is still screaming as Vader, Boba, and Lando are walking away. Didn’t notice that as a kid

I love how Vader’s sinister theme song comes right after Lando challenges him. You get the vibe that Vader is not someone you can stand up to easily. One of my best personal scenes.

Never has so reasonable a statement sounded so threatening.

Lando got balls of steel speaking to lord Vader in that tone. Sheesh

I honestly forgot how threatening Vader was in this movie. Best movie antagonist, hands down

Lando and Vader eventually smoothed things over and started a traveling all-star baseball team.

Who was it who realized the Alliance fleet was walking into a trap and stopped it just in the nick of time? Lando.
Who was it who convinced Akbar to stay the course when the admiral wanted to retreat from Endor? Lando.
Who was it who dealt the finishing blow to the second Death Star and sent the Empire into disorganized retreat? Lando.
The Alliance victory owes so, so much to Lando.

And to think, if Vader had just kept his end of the original bargain, Lando would have just stayed on Cloud City the entire time and not got involved.

Nice place you got here Lando, be a shame if something happened to it.

To be fair Lando did have a good deal, the empire is after the millennium falcon and they see them as criminals and they seek refuge in cloud city
Normally a dictator would accuse Cloud city of assisting the criminals (millennium falcon)
However Vader is not accusing Lando for assisting Han or Leia, Vader is simply asking that we want these criminals who were a pain to the empire and we will leave your city alone
