Sorcerer / Wizard Build Guide: Baldur's Gate 3

This Sorcerer Wizard build is actually quite strong in BG3. We'll be focusing mostly on cold and lightning damage, as we can get water set up and exploit that for double damage. Baldur's Gate 3 gives a lot of ability to set up water so do that before battle and it won't aggro anyone. That double damage on cold and lightning attacks is seriously so strong. Being able to cast chain lightning for free, and follow up with another chain lightning is serious nova damage. The Sorcerer is just so strong in baldur's gate 3, its best to go higher in sorcerer than into wizard, but if you have a different guide let me know in the comments below!

Oh this is a pretty nice build! Having high charisma and intelligence is broken lol (mind stats)

Comparatively for physical stats, that’d be like stacking Dexterity and Strength which is broken in its own right.

Constitution/Wisdom get no love lol but they’re important too 😂

So I’m in early act 3 just plundered sorcerous sundries. I have the headband of int & gloves of Dex. I wanna respec my character to a sorcerer/wizard(currently 4 Bard/ 7 warlock) how should I distribute my stat points if I can dump dex & int? Can someone help me(not a lot of wizcerer vid or posts)

my poor character is lvl 8- 2 lvl in sorcerer; 1-lvl in nature cleric for speak with animals( in lazy to make potions) and 5 in necromancer wizard

Can’t you have 26 charisma? +3 cha from mirror (you can get +1 bonus in addition to the +2 ONLY for charisma if you get the right dialogue) and the +1 to hag hair makes 24. So with the cap wouldn’t it be 26?

can't you make the wizard hold only buffs and utility spells then you don't need to put points at inteligence

Wizard Sorcerer build doesn't make sense, because you won't learn too many spells from Wizard subclass, only level 1 spells, which wouldn't make sense. Don't sub class to wizard, sorcerer is better for solo/high damage/multi turn attack build. Wizard is more like swiss knife thing. Even though I like general concept of wizard more Sorcerer more powerfull than Wizard

I see all these respects its nice and all, but would you start a character with no items like you how? I bet not.
