"If it's not portable, I don't want it" is often my saying, I'd feel like an hostage, too cumbersome and fragile installations.
I can't understand why they all REALLY WANT to install in, like invading one's house, putting their shoes on table, bubbling in one's bathtub. Dude, this PC is mine, get off ur shoes !
It's often perfectly useless to install, portable version often works absolutely the same.

How do you get your VST's programms portable such as Refx Nexus, Omnisphere, Ik multimedia stuff..I want all on external harddrive without ever have to re-install?

I have seen some portable applications showing a "custom splash screen". And some of them generates a folder named "Sandbox". What portable app creator creates a folder called "Sandbox" around the packaged .exe file?? Its not cameyo i think. I'm trying to create a portable version of my After Effects installation, but im new on this

Everytime I re-install my OS I use Ninite to install all the important applications I had, very easy and pain free.

you are trying to open vlc from same laptop..on that laptop vlc is already installed by u try this process on another laptop

I created a variation of this.  I have my Windows on a 3.0 thumb drive.  UEFI will need to be set to legacy to allow the boot up.  My laptop is old and won't boot from my 2.0 or 3.0, so it runs a bit slow at times.  That aside, it is kewl to be able to take my system with me in my pocket without having to install  my stuff on a someone else's system or leave behind personal data like account information.

I think it is illegal unless the app is licensed under Creative Commons.

It does NOT work when you install a FONT. It only captures the font file, but does not installed it for your virtual application.

You can Install a program with serial or crack Like: Sony Vegas pro 9.0 and other programs have serial number ....but in your video install not have serial number

All applications can be portable!

Cameo tool never worked fro me on following OS
Win7 x86 x64
win10 x86 x64
i never have been able to make a portable for any program. i tried on many apps. all failed.

Really cool!! Why are you using a XP machine?
