Whey protein makes me breakout so bad it’s unreal. Literally gave me what looks like herpes after 2 days of drinking whey shakes. Whats the best alternative, is pea or hemp better ?

From my research I hear the best type of whey as far as dairy goes is Whey Protien Isolate but there are other factors involved with the biovavalibily with Pea protien such as how healthy is your gut and diet because a healthy gut/microbiom will break down the Pea Protien and allow those nutrients to be absorbed but from personal experience I noticed Pea Protien is more lean and Whey Protien is more bulk depends what your fitness goal is I dont think one is better than the other just preference/goals. Just buy high quality and reputable protien powder wether it is Pea or Whey.

Fiber is great but that's not why you take protein lol. If i wanted fiber I'd get fiber. My issue w most flavored protein powders and drinks is the sucralose. If ur OK with that much carbs and 50% bioavailability of pea protein then go for it. Fiber is great but doesn't improve your physique. Just get a psyllium husk supplement or eat your veg.

Plant protein is superior when paired with a whole food vegan diet. Animal proteins don’t contain enough fibre to aid healthy digestion, also leads to IBS, heart disease, etc., not to mention 65% of adults are lactose intolerant. Whey protein goes in one end and out the other before your liver even gets the chance to absorb it. There’s no point drinking something with “complete amino acids” if it doesn’t stay inside you long enough to be absorbed. Animal protein is 18th century knowledge. Plant protein is 20th century knowledge. For healthy people, Macro Mike is the only protein powder worth taking.

plant based has chemicals such as pesticides, so technically isn’t as safe as you think, you might as go a simple whey protein best bang for your buck
