The end of Salem's Lot haunted me. Very rarely can that be said about the end of books.

I loved reading Salems Lot. King is my favorite author. Haven't read anything by Dan Simmons yet, although I have The Terror on my nook. Can't wait for King's newest book Revival.

Stephen King really respects Dan Simmons...I like more of King's books but Simmons has two books of my all time favorites (with The Talisman being my unofficial favorite written by King and Straub)

I just finished Summer of Night and I loved it. I don't have a lot of free time so I listened to it at work on Audible and it was narrated by the actor who played the lead guitarist for Johnny Cash's band in the movie Walk the Line. The group of boys (B-O-Y apostrophe -S) in my imagination looked like the kids from the movie Sandlot lol. So this book was spooky, exciting, and an all out entertaining story. I'm interested in what the other Dan Simmons book you read. I definitely want to check out more after this book.
