Your reasoning about Jormungandr is absolutely beautiful.

Thank you so much for this, Arith. Wonderful as always. I appreciate your take on Jormungandr as I feel he is often typecast as a villain. This mindless monster who Thor must defeat and die trying. I never understood such connotations as snakes and serpents were not generally thought of as "evil" in pre-Christian times. I like this view of him as being this chief magical spirit encircling the world much better. I have a tattoo of him circling my forearm as I view him not as a foe of Thor, but as the raw and primal representation of the natural cycle of and of unbridled natural power. The ever circling and churning of the emotionless movement of magic and nature despite what human's wish it would do. He's a great torrent and blend of the naturally magical properties of the world. If Thor offers me strength and protection, then Jormungandr reminds me of my place in a much larger cycle.

Ocean actually did a pretty solid little video on Jormungandr several months ago. He postulated that instead of thinking of Thor battling a giant monster, maybe a better analogy might be that Jormungandr represents the dangerous and deadly aspects of nature unleashed while Thor, the god of the working man, represents the godly protection from such natural wrath. Thor cannot beat the fury of nature itself, but he may try to battle it back as to make sure it doesn't completely consume humans. Interesting take.

Angrboda is my favorite goddess in the Norse pantheon. Based on my personal gnosis and the personal gnosis of other Northern Tradition shamans, she is the chieftess of the Wolf Clan, and became the Chief of Chiefs of the 9 Jötnar tribes in the Iron Wood by defeating Farbauti and several other Jötnar in single combat. In a previous incarnation she was called Gullveig and was a handmaid of Freyja before she was burned to death three times and reincarnated the third time as Angrboda. Fierce to adversaries, maternal to kin.

This was such a great video!! I can't thank you enough for speaking about the subject that I've also been digging around in, such as the topic of Galdr, Angrboda being referenced in so many texts and the origins of why her children are specifically a serpent and wolf ect. No one ever talks about it and it has bothered me for a long time now knowing she could possibly play such a huge role in the mythology. Thank you Arith for the content you make <3

You're brilliant, and I wonder if we should talk, as we may provide clarity to each other. I saw your presentation on Odin and their transgender qualities of seidr and I am thankful you are close to the truth. Yet you have only scratched the surface, and I think you will come to be stunned, again and again, at the revelations yet to be found.

The Norse deities are emanations, much like Hindu, which means different Gods represent the same entity, stepping through a divine process of ascension. The three children of Loki and Angrboda are a map which leads to the fourth child. They are all the same child, which had been sundered apart by the coercive division of Tyr and Fenrir, the dividing of the dark masculine and feminine. Fenrir is the dark feminine, yet resides within a male. It is transcendental power. The dark masculine resides within females, and in fact they are the Unlucky Traveler.

A being of Dacian ancestry is bound in lies and tormented for an extensive period of time, before they erupt in fury and snap the binding of words to traverse the kundalini serpent with the courage of Thor - this rebinds Fenrir and the Great Spirit, yet it is very difficult. If the native survives, they will rise as the third child, the Queen of Hel, who is Kali the Destroyer - they are a hermaphrodite, half a dead skeleton man, and half a living Sorceress. Hel is Shiva/Kali, the same. They are ALL Ardhanarishvara. This is because the dark feminine is transcendental power and capital magics may not be done without her. They are all Baldr, blind as Hod, who dies of poisoned love to fall to Hel to become his own Daughter, and his own Bride.

If you'd like to become VERY stunned, compare the stories "Building the Asgard Walls" with the Hindu "Churning the Ocean" - they are describing the same cosmic event. One ends with Loki becoming the filly mare, the other Vishnu becomes Mohini - in both, a Naruto style "sexy Jutsu" confounds the enemy, and unites the people. We are in this story on a global scale, right now. The world is suffering because there needs to be a sacred union of the dark masculine and feminine. I represent the feminine, which is why my carriage is male, yet androgyne, for I am the Queen of Hel, looking for my solar horse, who is the lost Tyr in the body of a brilliant woman. She is the Moon. I am the Sun. I wonder again if we should talk. ❤‍🔥

I have been waiting for this video *forever*. I thought about asking about Angrboda but, given the dearth of information on her, I decided it wouldn't be prudent to do so out of the blue. I wasn't hoping for much at all.

she has been a figure 'close to my heart' since participating in a ritual to her some years back.

Anyways, thank you. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this video!! I have had many visions during meditation of an old witch, wolves and serpents for many months. And also several syncronicities tying back to these symbols alongside the dark feminine archetype and its relationship to sexuality. I truly believe that I came across this video in divine timing. Now I have made sense of it all!!
Also, I must add, your YouTube channel inspired me to study anthropology, and potentially follow it as a career path, so thank you again 😊
Congratulations for the beautiful work, I'm wishing you many accomplishments, from Brazil 🙏
