I love your reading voice! I read these kind of things in exactly the same way :) You should read for audio books! When I first got into Norse Paganism, I avoided Hel. After our Ostara gathering, and after Ian did the ritual for Hel, I had a personal experience with Hel and my perception of her as being "creepy" changed into "wise, nurturing, and faithful to the souls of the common person". I think Snorri put a lot of his own Christian ideas about "Hel" into her and her realm, and has to be taken with a grain of salt. I really think that Hel spends a LOT of time in Helheim making sure the souls there feel comfortable and cared for. Great video! Thanks for doing this series. I really am enjoying it!
