There is supposedly a fairly big Emudeck update coming in a few weeks that is supposed to add a bunch of quality of life improvements and more options. I will make a new video once that is out! :)

The reason some buttons stop working when Steam stops is that Steam actually passes a controller configuration to your connected controller for desktop mode. In this case that controller is the Steam Deck. You can configure these controls just like you do with a normal game to improve how the Steam Deck handles in desktop mode, but all those buttons will stop working if you close the Steam client.

Seriously guys, in stead of hassling with the thumb drive, just install warpinator on your Deck and winpinator on your PC. It makes transferring files between the deck en PC much easier by setting up a connection between the two over your local network.

I would love a Steam Deck, looks amazing. I’ve been playing Forza Horizon, Fire Pro Wrestling World, WWE 2K22, Star Wars Squadron, Dirt 5, Killer Instinct and a bunch of others all on my iPhone recently (and posted some vids) on the move, just so that I can get my gaming fix. Amazing that you could play these games with touchscreen controls but SD would be so much better

Are you able to move the emudeck stuff easily in the future if you at first don't have an SD card?

Hiya, prob a silly question, but if you choose to install on the internal storage, which folders do you place the roms in? There is litterally 3 options,
Home/deck/emulation/roms
Or both these options with rootfs on the front, . Want to make sure i get it right this time as ive tried this once before and games not showing up in the gaming mode. Thanks

So do you have one key.txt file with all the Wii U game keys in it? Or do you have to make an individual key file for each specific game from the big file I found online with all the keys?
