I don't know if anyone else had a hard time getting the back off the remote but you may want to mention that if that's an issue take a gripper or a rubber or latex glove to use for more traction. It looked so easy here but I had a devil of a time getting the thing to open. Using a gripper (like for opening a jar) did the trick. Great instructions, and perfect pace for those of us a little intimidated by technology.

I believe that the picture quality is better if you use their wall adapter for the power supply. I found the picture quality to be a bit grainy when I plugged the USB cable into the USB port on the back of the TV.

Great video. You mention it doesn't matter which HDMI port you use. Some TV's only have one HDMI port that supports full 4K and higher frame rates. I suggest they check their manual to see if that is the case and which port to use. My Vizio uses HDMI port 1. The other HDMI ports do lower frame rates which makes it look a bit different.

I just upgraded to the firestick with voice and I am thankful for your video that showed me how simple it will be to switch out devices. I did buy mine from QVC so I will have to do a couple of extra steps as you showed, but knowing that, when it arrives sometime today, I will have no problem. Plugging the USB power cable directly into the TV is only good if the USB outlet on the TV is always powered on. I wanted to use it, but stayed with the adapter and wall outlet instead. A trick I learned after struggling to open the battery cover on the remote, is to use a latex or rubber glove rather than bare skin.

I have been using the mediatek powered Amazon fire stick and it works really nicely for such an affordable price
