I'm a diesel tech and that Kobalt XTR is no joke. I have yet to have a fastener it couldn't zip off immediately. I used it to get a stuck rim off a semi with a universal wheel separator. I smacked the tire with a sledge 50+ times and it wouldn't budge. The kobalt got it off in seconds. Best impact I've ever used.

I have Kobalt as my basement tools and go bag/pickup truck tools. They’ve never let me down and they are surprisingly powerful. I went from black and yellow to blue last year based on price alone and the results and power don’t disappoint. Plus I like the blue look better. Very impressed with their stuff.

That stuck suspension bolt that was very accessible is exactly why I have that XTR - it's worked 100% for me in the 6 months I've had it. Freed up a few really stuck lugnuts, done my suspension ... and I paid 279 for it (lowes does a vet discount).

I bought the kobalt tools pack that has 6 tools, 2 battery and a charger for $250. And honestly because I'm looking for some thing reliable, strong and cheap. It maybe not be the strongest or fastest but so far my impact, drill, and saw, I use consistently hasn't failed me
