Amen....makes perfect sense. People that need honesty in life...will get depressed and sick around Narcissistic people. Children will get sick often and also have separation anxiety as well. I've been in that and got sick too much.

I disagree. Even though we have been abused, and even though we are learning to navigate a new life, FORGIVENESS is ultimately required if we are to prosper in life. Forgiveness implies presence and understanding.

Once we are all grown up, we can develop skills to be with a narcissistic adult in order to claim an understanding of the origins of THEIR pathology.

Shunning a non-threatening parent is reverse-narcissism, and I wholly recommend avoiding it. Children who shun their parents stay stuck in the most childish behavior they learned from their parent - shunning.

Teach forgiveness and your followers will wind up healthy.
