Sarah Michelle Gellar actually loved being Buffy and is constantly open about how thankful she was to be given the opportunity to play that part. She looks at Buffy as a great role model for girls. yes, she said that season 6 is her least favorite because of some of the writing decisions that season when Joss wasn't there but that doesn't mean she hates the character as a whole.

If Penn liked his character, Joe from YOU, I’d be concerned. He played it really amazingly well but that made his character even more creepy and messed up

Katherine Heigl pretty much showed us don't bite the hand that feeds you especially when you are still employed by them.

Sarah worked sooo hard on Buffy. All of the actors have said so. She had the most material and a lot of her scenes required night shoots. She has said numerous times she didn't like the sixth season, but it's understandable due to the scenes she had to portray with Buffy being so depressed and having such a dark and twisted relationship with Spike. Furthermore, Sarah has said she felt the seventh season was good and, in her opinion, back to what she thought was in-character for Buffy. She didn't hate being Buffy. Sure, like almost 90% of television actors, she may have felt she grew out of the role toward the end, but if you look at any of her social media accounts she embraces the role and often posts many references to it. She knows how important Buffy was not only to her career but to fans all over the world. Saying she "HATED" Buffy is a bit of a stretch.

I think all of the Gossip Girl cast hate or have hated their characters/ the show. After the show Penn Badgley ripped on it regularly, Leighton Meester doesn't seem to like talking about it and Ed Westwick two or three years after the show ended couldn't remember who GG was.

It's interesting how videos like these don't even mention how the actors or actresses feel about their characters now. Yes, Miley did hate Hannah Montana and sadly whether we like it or not (I'm a big Hannah Montana fan, by the way) she had every right to feel the way that she was feeling. However, Miley also has admitted that she can now look back and respect her days as Hannah Montana and that despite everything Hannah Montana is definitely inside of her heart. :)

This video is mislabeled. According to the video, Jason Segal didn't hate Marshall, but just wanted more challenges. Mandy Patinkin hated the show as a whole, not his character, Sarah Michelle Gellar didn't like the last season, Angus T. Jones hated the show (rightfully so), but probably also the character, Shailene Woodley hated the "morals" from Secret Life, but I certainly hope she hated her character. All the characters were terrible. Katherine Heigl hated the writing.

Only me who thinks this is a pointless video, especially when most of the actors they listed doesn't hate their charachter just had some issues with the show. Like Jason Segel- he thought it got tedious to play the same role for 8 years- not that he hated his charachter. Just because you dont like everything that the show brought you or agrees with all of the decisions the writers made does not mean the actors hated their charachter!
