Hi Kseniya, very informative video. If you are an immediate relative (i.e. parents) of a US Citizen, then I believe you can still apply for Adjustment of Status even if you have overstayed in the US.

Hi Kseniya, thank you very much for videos related to I-485, as they're very detailed. While collecting documents to apply for Adjustment of Status for DV lottery, I have found the following information regarding a document I have to submit: "If derivative applicants are filing Form I-485 based on the principal applicant’s Selection Letter, you must provide evidence that the principal applicant included the derivative applicants in the entry when entering the DV lottery for the current fiscal year." Frankly speaking, I have no idea what it means since DV entry itself did not allow to download the entire Application, and on submission confirmation page my wife is not mentioned. Probably you have an idea what are they mentioning? Appreciate your help.

It's just my 2nd year here in the USA as an H1b teacher here in North Carolina. Is it good for me to start now processing on adjusting my status as a permanent resident? I'm planning to have self petition on processing such a thing.
