My Adjustment Of Status Packet Through K1Visa | How To Assemble | Filling Tips

Hello everyone! Welcome to another video of my Adjustment Of Status journey!
How my husband and I organized this Adjustment of Status packet, sent it to USCIS then I've got a conditional Green Card Within 3 months.

GREEN CARD TIMELINE:
AOS Filed on & mailed on October 20, 2021
Received package on October 22, 2021
Biometrics notice i797C received in the mail on October 29, 2021
Biometric scheduled on October 30, 2021
Case approved on January 21, 2021
Card is produced on January 27, 2021
Card is mailed and delivered by post office on January 29, 2021

NOTE : USCIS fees will be changed in April 2024.
Started April 2024 : The fees for I-131 & I-765 is not free anymore when you submit with Adjustment of Status application.

1. What is the first thing we need to do? File first the I-485 by mail then wait for the G-1145?
2. Do we need to pay the fee for filing the first time we file it? Or we'll just wait for the approval first then pay it altogether later on?

Great video! My fiance will be here in December. Since the 131/765 aren't free anymore... we're just submitting I-485 and the affidavit of support. It would drive me crazy if we paid the fees for 131/765 and the green card shows up in 3 or 4 months. 😅🙃

Question: After sending your entire packet by mail, how do you track whether your package has been received, and how do you check your status?

Since there's a fee for the I-765 and the I-131, do i need to include two G-1450 forms for each to my package, if payment method is credit card?
Also would that mean i need to submit a total of four G-1450 forms. 1 for each : I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-131??

Thank you for the information. I have a question: Do we need to complete all of these forms just to change our status? Or, is it sufficient to fill out Form I-485 and wait for the process to unfold? I understand that once you receive your Green Card and Social Security number, Form I-765 becomes less relevant because you are then legally permitted to work in the United States. Also, if you do not plan to travel outside of the U.S. while waiting for your Green Card, why is Form I-131 necessary? Your input is greatly appreciated.

Hi! May i ask, when you say “copy of” for each forms do you mean they are photocopied? Or should be original copy? Like birth certificate etc.. thank you so much!
