Anti-Conversion Bill Rocks Karnataka Assembly | Left, Right & Centre

Despite opposition from various quarters, the Karnataka cabinet today tabled the controversial anti-conversion Bill, which stipulates a punishment of up to 10 years in jail. Moreover, the state revenue minister said any conversion is illegal. With the Congress' DK Shivakumar tearing a copy of the Bill in the assembly, the controversy is far from over.

Absolutely needed, look at the conditions of our north eastern states. Years of neglect from the mainland India has made age old Hindus and other Tribal faiths to be literally wiped off by these missionaries. Make this a pan India law. If the missionaries can't respect your religion and culture, no need for you to play by the moral high ground. Enough of this secularism BS, It should work both ways!

This law should be applicable to all the religions of india, no special space for majority or minority now everything under law is happening very partially


How can law distinguish these kind of activities when law is not able to mark up living Gods religious atrocities - families are been destroyed brutally under the shades of senseless beliefs and rituals which are still popular

Lakhs of europeans are visiting India to follow hinduism and take part all kind of prominent ritual activities such as kumbhamela and so on, they are impressed by the so called living gods or gurus and they are surrendering themselves under them and proclaiming their faith and been converted

Why these are not called conversions or unbalanced modes of beliefs ? This is becoming an international home

No more questions or voices will come from either Europe or any part of this world including India about this from Christian community because answer is simple - it is their life their choices and Parents cannot hold much their children if they don't wish to be a child under their shades of togetherness


Nobody is interested till today to break the caste system but they are too interested to sit on top of poor peoples choice, you can't touch it and it is your weakness and all of that pressure can be easily dumped upon minority ones. What a pity move


Who can entangle a person a person if they dont want to follow a religion? Can we inject into their head and put them in religious jails?


A person has to decide whether to stand firm or not on top of any religion if it is been forced also and how can somebody force they can only attract or impress by living on bright side which can really nourish, which can give a change to them in all manner


People are interested to raise marriage bill for women but less interested to raise a strong law to protect girl chirldren who are facing brutal conducts from the opposite gender.

First and foremost they have to come up with a law to protect them then they can take part about their marriage and future.

Whatever things should be given importance where people can attain a stand of unity are not been focused and things which can create a bifurcation are getting much calls of awareness.
