The contentious anti-conversion bill was cleared by the Karnataka Cabinet on Monday and it is most likely to be tabled in the legislative assembly today.

The draft bill proposes a maximum punishment of 10 years of imprisonment for forcible conversion of persons from Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe communities, minors and women, to another religion.

Yes forcible conversion is illegal, not only illegal but holy books of every religion be it Bible, Geeta, Quran etc does not promote it.

The life and soul of one's Life is not with the Authority of the Govt.
Let them practice wat their heart's is call
I'll be happy to hear and listen every good teaching of religion beliefs but to accept it or not as my religion is within me .

Hindus carry the name tag "Dalit" Christians forever and face the same kind of ostracism they were promised freedom from!!!
