I think China has true democracy, meaning the system is leaning to ordinary people. They don’t tax most people whose income below median income. No property taxes, no tax when you purchase. Retirement insurance pay out is almost the same as when you are working. Cons. Can be quite crowded especially in hospitals very, health care cost can be high if one doesn’t have insurance, so one could become very poor after serious illness. They are improving and reforming constantly in the past 40+years. Very high competition at work or between businesses. This could be good though except people could be stressing out and working long hours. For the amount of products Chinese produced, the worker’s income could be a lot higher if it’s in the west. So their prices are low in almost every aspect. This could be why everything they make and sell are so competitive. Just my two cents.

To catch those mice, China uses all kind of cats, including foreign ones while Uncle Sam uses only one kind; the political cat. 😂😂😂😂

Deng was the actual executor of the grand plan. After WWII, US was mediating the KMT and CCP to avoid a civil war. During that period, Mao wrote 2 letters to President Roosevelt, making the pitch for US support of CCP instead of KMT. Basically, Mao said China had huge labor force, combining US investment and technology, there's huge potential for collaboration and both sides would benefit. Due to the political atmosphere at the time and other reasons, those 2 letters never reached Roosevelt.

To think - uif not for Mao Tze-tung's intransigence towards communistic ideologies and he had given Deng Hsiao-ping's his way in the 1960's instead of branding him as a reactionary for even suggesting allowing the Chinese people some freedom to have their own capitalist enterprises, China would have become the Number 1 global power in finance and military years ago. Mao was an ideologue just like many in the Western democracies are - which shows that extremisms on either side of the left or right of politics is detrimental to the health and well -being of any country.

What are the top 10 factors or achievements that define Superpower status? There are a growing number of smaller, younger nations would strive to close that gap, and become a member in that club.

If the usd is fast losing its value, usd billionaires will find their real worth declining and those hoarding usd in tax havens will find them worthless.

The day that becomes true, then i will drink to that. Pity the american people though...

Now all Mainland China need so is improve standards and it should be all set. The Taiwan issue can be put on ice for the next three decades or so; things may change or return to the old status quo in that time.

Over 40 years ago a China trying to get out of decades of entropic policies (most imported from interfering nations)opened a beautiful relationship with economist and American statesman Lyndon H. LaRouche and his thinking. What was accomplished from these first, and ongoing diaglogues was the first step of China to adopt directly principles of Alexander Hamilton's "American System of Political Economy." This system was the one Hamilton created to build a new economy for the young American republic. This truth is either ignored out of ignorance or by intention. Nonetheless it is a system the US needs to restore immediately.
