My wife was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism recently but for 3 years had wild symptoms that only got worse over the years but every time she went to a hospital they would tell her she was having panic attacks and was fine until she finally went to the doctor where they diagnosed her with “PTSD”. That was 2 years ago. So for years she suffered because doctors kept writing her off with “PTSD” “MDD” “GAD” “ADHD” because she was “too young to have anything serious going on and is relatively ‘healthy’” (she’s about to be 25). To think she could’ve just looked in a mirror while drinking water all this time

So useful to be able to learn about one's body and health at home.

I have noticed in the last two years a lot of people have been having throat issues . Many people that I know are on respiratory machines to get enough oxygen to breathe right again . I have been having a lot of the symptoms for the last year and they keep saying it is my anxiety and my thyroid even came out higher than normal but they still brush it under the bus as though it is nothing . I am going to ask for a thyroid ultrasound . I can’t help but believe that this may be the aftermath of Covid

I have lumps and cyst in that area too but I don’t have any thyroid issues. Just always wondering what these uncomfortable bumps are . Went to doctor and they straight up told me they don’t know .

I have a slight “bump” in my neck that doesn’t feel like anything in particular, shaped like this ➖moves up and down when I swallow and I only see it if I tilt my head back all the way, worried it might be a enlarged thyroid or maybe it’s just normal neck anatomy? I’m going to get it checked out

Gettin a tad worried cuz I do have a lump right om the top of the left side of my neck. I don’t know if it’s because of thyroid issues, but the doctor says she doesn’t think it’s cancer. So Im assuming it’s probably a thyroid issue. I fit most symptoms too. Yet I’m still on the fence about fully believing it to be a thyroid issue as I hear it doesn’t usally occur in teenagers.

I’ve been on NP for about a year now, 30 mg. for six days and 15 mg. once a week, so when I went to the gym on Monday I do the same routine as always after running l use weights and do sit-ups also with weights only, 15 pounds three sets of 10, but on Monday I pushed myself and did six sets of sit-ups, so on the last sit-up coming up I all of a sudden felt like everything was spinning really fast, I couldn’t stop feeling dizzy I still feel extremely dizzy, today is Saturday . I did go to the hospital thinking something was just not right, but thankful that there is nothing for me to worry about, but I’ve become really good at knowing when I’m over medicated and when I need more, l used to be on Synthroid , but I just felt like something was just not working with that medication, plus it is synthetic, NP isn’t though it smells like bacon, for awhile l was asked if I’d just eaten bacon or a BLT, it was funny, but l can say that over exercising when on weather it be synthroid or np, be wise don’t over exercise. So I was told by my doctor to stop NP for a days then start again on the 15 mg . Until I see the Endocrinologist again.
